Six things to do before we pull up.

• Turn on an outside spigot and make sure we can reach it.
• Close every window and door tightly.
• Switch off outdoor outlets and light fixtures at the breaker box.
• Keep pets inside until we've finished.
• Move flags, doormats, cars and anything delicate out of the way.
• Try not to run water inside while we're washing, so our pressure stays steady.
